Description:As a Full Motion Video Datalink (FMVDL) Capability Owner for the Communication, Navigation, Identification (CNI) Integrated Product Team (IPT), you will be owning the end-to-end plan that develops, integrates, and delivers a capability to the customer across entire lifecycle development production and sustainment. Lead a cross-functional capability team made up of air, ground, and support domains to ensure the capability is matured and delivered to meet the overall release plan and block plan objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
- Define and communicate the long-term vision and strategy for the FMVDL system's architecture and infrastructure, ensuring it aligns with business goals and enterprise-wide technology standards as part of the CNI portfolio.
AGILE Process Management:
- Lead team PI Planning quarterly
- Own, prioritize, and groom the product backlog for the FMVDL technical team.
- Writing clear user stories, epics and features that outline requirements for system enhancements, upgrades, and new integrations.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Act as a primary liaison between business stakeholders, the FMVDL development team, and F-35 enterprise line of business.
Technical Oversight:
- Work closely with ART and SCRUM Team technologists to make informed decisions on technology choices, system design, and security best practices.
Roadmap and Releases:
- Manage and communicate the FMVDL infrastructure roadmap, coordinate system upgrades and releases, and ensure new features are deployed with minimal disruption.
Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate technical and schedule risks issues related to the FMVDL system and its integrations.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, computer science, or related engineering/technical field.
Experience with CNI Avionics Subsystems.
Experience with project management.
Knowledge of the F-35 development processes for hardware and software.
Knowledge of Agile principles and experience managing product backlogs within a Scrum or Kanban framework.
Experience with Jira or other Agile issue and project tracking software.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to "translate" complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
Desired Skills:
Product Owner certification (e.g., SAFE).
Knowledge of video/still imagery compression technologies and associated metadata standards.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
