Job Description

As a Security Professional Armed Patrol Driver Aerospace in Canoga Park, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where your role will focus on monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or potential threats.
• Monitor for unusual activity or security-related breaches, and report findings promptly to the appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency response teams as needed during critical situations.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of activities, incidents, and patrols as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and Allied Universal standards while performing armed patrol duties in an aerospace or defense environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
