Structural Journeyman

We're hiring a Structural Engineer to support the development and evaluation of air vehicle structures and mechanical systems. In this role, you'll apply core engineering principles to help ensure systems are sound, safe, and optimized for performance. You'll contribute across multiple areas-including design, testing, integration, and documentation-with opportunities to take on leadership support tasks.

What You'll Do

• Research, analyze, design, and test airframe structural components and associated mechanical systems.
• Develop and review engineering documentation, including:
• Technical analyses
• Structural designs
• Change proposals
• Engineering reports
• Support systems engineering functions such as:
• Integration and configuration management
• Quality assurance testing
• Acquisition planning and resource oversight
• Apply engineering expertise to maintain and improve structural performance.
• May be asked to perform team lead functions in support of contract execution.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
• At least 3 years of overall engineering experience, including:
• 2+ years directly focused on aerospace structures or mechanical systems.
• Solid understanding of structural design, testing, and air vehicle systems.
• Experience supporting documentation and configuration processes.
• Active Secret clearance.
