Computer Scientist Journeyman

We're hiring a Computer Scientist to support advanced research and analysis in systems security, software design, and computing infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone with strong theoretical grounding in computer science who's ready to apply that knowledge to real-world system challenges, especially in the areas of cybersecurity, architecture, and data transformation.

What You'll Do

• Conduct research into computer systems, network technologies, and software with a focus on:
• System security
• Vulnerability analysis
• IT architecture and infrastructure
• Apply computer science techniques to manipulate, store, and present data using modern computing systems.
• Explore and develop theoretical models related to:
• Information representation and transformation
• System architecture and software organization
• Analyze and evaluate design characteristics, limitations, and potential applications of information-processing systems.
• Use knowledge of mathematical and statistical methods in computing contexts.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience
• Strong understanding of computer science theory, including systems architecture, software organization, and data structures.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity research, IT infrastructure, and advanced software methods.
• Active Secret clearance.
