Job Overview
XPECT Solutions is looking for an experienced and dynamic Full Stack Developer to support their customers mission critical work in Washington, DC. The Full Stack Developer will work supporting the FBI’s Office of Public Sector (OPS), you will play a pivotal role in advancing the Bureau’s mission to strengthen national security through enhanced collaboration with the private sector.
This team is responsible for a broad range of technological and strategic responsibilities—from developing secure digital platforms and testing emerging technologies, to crafting impactful communication products and participating in Interagency working groups. By helping design innovative solutions that foster trust and engagement, you will contribute to the FBI’s efforts to build resilient partnerships that protect the nation’s people, infrastructure, and information.
Core Responsibilities (will include but not limited to):
- Shepherd projects from conception to deployment and beyond.
- Developing Enterprise class Websites and Information Systems.
- Work within constraints of existing networks, systems, and policy by building creative solutions.
- Work with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to integrate new features into existing software.
- Ability and willingness to learn and field test technologies for use on the project (e.g., Leaflet.js, Vue.js, d3.js, Map-Reduce/Document Store/Graph/RDF Triplestore, etc.)
- Provide high level functional and systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, and implementation advice on exceptionally complex studies,.
- May augment or direct project teams.
- Participates in all phases of study development with emphasis on the planning, analysis, documentation, and presentation phases.
- Applies higher level mathematical principles and methods to exceptionally difficult and narrowly defined technical problems in engineering and other physical sciences to arrive at automated solutions.
- Reviews and approves the design and preparation of technical documentation and reports.
- Prepares and delivers senior management presentations and briefings as required by the task order.
- Ensuring the quality and timeliness of services delivered.
Requirements:
- ACTIVE TOP-SECRET CLEARANCE w/ the ability to obtain an SCI
- Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline
- 12 years' relevant experience.
- Strong background working with REACT
- Experience as a data engineer (e.g., MS SQL, T-SQL, Entity Framework, REST APIs, XML/JSON, etc.).
- Experience with Web Development -- ASP.NET/C# (.Net Framework 4.5, MVC, etc.), preferred Java
- Expert knowledge of JavaScript– React preferred, jQuery, Angular (comparable skills).
- Experience with software integration: build, installation, and deployment.
- Experience with both green field development and maintaining /upgrading legacy systems.
- Experience developing software using Agile/Scrum practices.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical Certification in related discipline (i.e. AWS Certified Developer, Microsoft Certified Azure Developer, Microsoft Power Platform Developer Certification, etc...)
