Description:This position is for a test engineer to conduct flight test planning and execution on the F-22 program. Acting as part of a Combined Test Force including Contractor Test, Developmental Test, and Operational Test Team, collaborate with AFTC engineers in writing test plans, flight cards, problem reporting, and provide flight test data to verification engineers. This position is for a TRAX Discipline Engineer.

As part of the engineering team on site at Edwards AFB, the candidate will support planning, execution and troubleshooting of planned F-22 Operational Flight Program (OFP) drops and for new hardware capabilities. Significant interaction with the Verification Team and Discipline IPTs at Fort Worth as well as industry suppliers/vendors is required to communicate issues found and to provide information to assist in problem resolution. Advise team, technical leads, and management on overall flight priorities and critical problem reports based on data collected in flight. Assist schedule coordination.

Assist with on aircraft troubleshooting and failure resolution as needed to ensure test aircraft mission capability. Coordinate with other mission system personnel to resolve system failures or performance questions. Participate in problem identification, analysis, and resolution. Assist with collection, distribution and analysis of data acquired during flight test missions to support diagnostic health management (DHM) and reliability, maintainability and supportability (RMS).

Ideal candidate should have design, integration, and test experience with Mission Systems, primarily core processing systems. Ideal candidate should also be familiar with general Avionics architecture design. Excellent writing, mathematical, and computer skills.

**Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.**
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Aerospace, or Engineering (STEM)
- DoD Secret security clearance
- Flight Test experience with core processor and avionics troubleshooting

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $89,300 - $157,550. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
