As a Mid-Level Software Developer, you'll be part of a high-performing team delivering software solutions that transform complex engineering and manufacturing data into actionable insights for our defense and aerospace customers.
This role offers the opportunity to work on both Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and custom in-house applications, supporting engineering and manufacturing teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain computing applications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and validate end-user requirements.
- Write and compile code, construct database objects, and ensure application security and compatibility.
- Modify and upgrade applications to enhance performance and user experience.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software and architecture issues.
- Conduct system performance reviews and recommend improvements.
- Perform application scans to address IT compliance and security requirements.
- Support integration of COTS and custom software applications.
- Maintain technical documentation including design specs, user guides, and release notes.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and development practices.
Required Qualifications
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance
- 5+ years of software development experience with system architecture and integration
- Proficiency in .NET technologies, web services, and client-side technologies
- 3+ years of Microsoft SharePoint development (including designer and workflow customizations)
- 3+ years of experience writing database queries in SQL Server or Oracle
Preferred Qualifications
- Current Security+ certification or ability to obtain post-start
- 5+ years of SharePoint development and administration
- Experience with ColdFusion, web services, and UI frameworks (e.g., jQuery, Angular, ReactJS)
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and Agile development environments
- Experience with Git workflow, configuration management, and software requirements documentation
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science)
- Typically requires 5+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., Master's + 3 years, PhD, or 9 years total experience)
