Job Summary

B&A is looking for a SAP FICO Analyst to join a contract with a federal government client in support of an important mission. This position provides expert-level business process guidance on Navy ERP's SAP requirements and design, focusing on the Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules. The incumbent will design and configure business processes in SAP FI/CO to automate general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash management, manage posting periods and period-end closing, and ensure integrated data flow across SAP modules. This role requires comprehensive expertise across key tasks, the ability to evaluate performance results, recommend improvements, and act as a technical expert across multiple project assignments. May include supervision of other team members.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze, configure, and optimize the SAP FI/CO modules to meet customer requirements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand FI/CO business processes
  • Implement system enhancements and process improvements
  • Ensure seamless integration of SAP FI/CO with other SAP modules
  • Lead and mentor large teams of functional or technical personnel
  • Evaluate performance results and recommend changes for improved project outcomes
  • Support post go-live production issues, including break/fix troubleshooting

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in technical, engineering, scientific, managerial, business, or related discipline (or 4 additional years of relevant experience)

Required Skills
  • 10+ years of SAP experience; SME in one or more functional areas/modules, specifically FI and CO
  • Hands-on experience designing and configuring business processes in SAP FI/CO
  • Federal government experience
  • Strong knowledge of general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash management processes
  • Ability to manage posting periods and period-end closing
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects and mentor teams

Desired Skills
  • 5+ years of hands-on SAP FI/CO experience
  • Knowledge of DoD and Navy ERP systems
  • Familiarity with Navy and/or DoD IT architectures
  • Experience in post go-live production support, troubleshooting, and break/fix
  • Strong customer service orientation and responsiveness

Security Clearance
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance
