Job Summary

B&A is looking for a SAP CO Analyst to join a contract with a federal government client in support of an important mission. This position provides expert-level business process guidance on Navy ERP's SAP requirements and design, focusing on the Controlling (CO) module. The incumbent applies comprehensive knowledge across high-impact assignments to automate the management and external reporting of general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash management, manage posting periods and period-end closing, and ensure integrated data flow between financial accounts and other SAP modules. The role requires the ability to resolve functional and technical integration issues, optimize business performance, and provide leadership on complex projects.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze, configure, and optimize the SAP CO module to meet customer requirements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand CO business processes
  • Implement system enhancements and process improvements
  • Ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to large teams of functional or technical personnel
  • Resolve functional and technical integration issues across SAP modules
  • Support post go-live production issues and system troubleshooting

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in technical, engineering, scientific, managerial, business, or related discipline (or 4 additional years of relevant experience)

Required Skills
  • 10+ years of SAP experience; SME in one or more functional areas/modules, specifically Controlling (CO)
  • 5+ years of experience in multiple disciplines and post-production support
  • Hands-on experience designing and configuring business processes in SAP CO
  • Ability to improve business performance and resolve integration issues
  • Federal government experience
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proven leadership on complex, cross-functional projects

Desired Skills
  • 5+ years of hands-on SAP CO experience
  • Knowledge of DoD and Navy ERP systems
  • Familiarity with Navy and/or DoD IT architectures
  • Experience in post go-live production support and break/fix
  • Strong customer service orientation and responsiveness

Security Clearance
  • Ability to obtain Secret Clearance
