Thomas & Herbert Consulting LLC (T&H), a leading provider of Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) solutions for the DOD/Intelligence Community, is seeking a Geospatial Intelligence Analyst to support the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) and Department of State for a short-term assignment (4-5 months) in Arlington, Virginia and Springfield, Virginia.
***This is a 1099/ independent contractor position***
Compensation: $72.00 per hour
· Must be cleared at the TOP SECRET/SCI level
Experience requirements summary:
Geospatial/Imagery: 7 years (Required)
Geospatial Intelligence Tools: 7 years (Required)
Work Location: Arlington, VA and Springfield, VA
Required Experience:
· Qualified candidates must have at least 7 years of experience in Geospatial and Intelligence Analysis as detailed below.
Search, evaluate, and retain reporting and intelligence data on potential atrocities. This includes:
a. Observations (finished or raw information)
b. Acts (all information about a specific wrongful action)
c. Inquiries (series of associated acts)
Document tradecraft and tools developed by the contract team to create and populate the atrocities database. Documentation may include HUB articles, JEMA models, ISpace pages, web feature services, and standard operating procedures (SOP)
Collaborate with customers' experts to advance capabilities that improve search and retention results, improving intelligence data and related reporting of potential atrocities
Demonstrated experience preparing and effectively delivering formal briefings
Demonstrated experience writing and delivering formal intelligence products
Knowledge of DoD and Intelligence Community missions
Demonstrated experience creating intelligence products supporting mission requirements
Demonstrated experience using DOD/IC databases and tools
Demonstrated ability to perform Open Source Collection & Analysis
Demonstrated ability to analyze intelligence information including open source, geospatial, and HUMINT related data.

· Demonstrated experience with digital cartography, image processing, computer technology, geospatial information systems (GIS), geospatial production techniques, remote sensing, and photogrammetry.
· Experience creating, updating, and managing GIS databases and products.
· Demonstrated experience with standard geospatial software suites used to accomplish IC missions, including but not limited to ARC GIS, ARC tools, the Integrated Exploitation Capability (IEC) System, Mr. SID, Erdas Imagine, Google Earth, Falcon View, Remote View, SOCET GXP, QT Modeler, and SOCET set.
· Knowledge of:
o GPS devices and formats
o Large format plotters
o NGA-Specified digital data formats including commercial imagery, NTM, MC&G, DPPDB, airborne, motion, and full motion imagery, panchromatic data, spectral data, and SAR data.
o Intelink database
o Standard and non-standard NGA reports, including Cedalion (NES) remarks, NGA Intel briefs (NIBs), GEOINT notes, cables and legacy GEOINT quick notes and first looks.
o Proficiency in the MS Office suite: Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel and Access
Educational requirement: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study (including, but not limited to, Remote Sensing, GIS, Activity-based Intelligence (ABI), Cartography, or Geography) desired.
