Job Description

As a Security Guard - Armed Dispatch Driver Aero/Defense in Marietta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is an armed and driving post. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and coordinate access control activities at the dispatch location, verifying credentials and maintaining detailed logs of personnel and vehicle movement.
• Operate communication equipment to receive and relay information related to security-related incidents, emergencies, and site operations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols specific to the aerospace and defense environment.
• Dispatch security-related personnel to designated areas as needed and maintain communication with onsite teams to support ongoing operations.
• Document and report security-related incidents, unusual activities, and maintenance requests to both site management and Allied Universal leadership.
• Collaborate with site teams to help to deter unauthorized activities and support the implementation of site-specific policies and procedures.
• Assist with emergency response activities, including communicating alerts, coordinating resources, and providing information to first responders as directed by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Maintain a valid armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent such as a GED as required by the client.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Proficiency with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
