Description
The Systems Research Program (SRP) at Leidos currently has an opening for a Library Intern to work in our Greenwood Village, CO office. The Library Intern is responsible for performing scanning and digitization work in support of a specialized national security program. The position directly supports the Manager of Information Services and the Manager of Production and Knowledge Management. Duration of internship is 4-6 months starting as soon as possible.

The Systems Research Program (SRP) at Leidos currently has an opening for a Library Intern to work in our Greenwood Village, CO office. The Library Intern is responsible for performing scanning and digitization work in support of a specialized national security program. The position directly supports the Manager of Information Services and the Manager of Production and Knowledge Management. Duration of internship is 4-6 months starting as soon as possible.
Primary Responsibilities
- Operate scanning and book de-binding equipment, with appropriate training and oversight. Upload scans using scanning software. Enter scan metadata in library software application.
- Collaborate with Library manager and data entry specialist to ensure timely, accurate, and complete metadata entry to library software application.
- Provide assistance to teammates and to external customers with questions regarding locating documents and documents searches in the library software application.
Basic Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a bachelors degree program.
- High level foundation of administrative concepts, principles, and practices sufficient to perform independently duties involving eliminating conflict and duplication of work.
- Must be proficient in common software, particularly Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Must possess character traits of being accurate, meticulous, proactive, efficient, self-starter, and a team player.
- Demonstrated excellent communication, organizational, and writing skills
- Must be US citizen.
- Candidate must have current SECRET clearance eligibility.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance.
- Basic level of Chinese language reading abilities.
