Position Summary: The Alternate Site Manager serves as the designated backup to the Site Manager and holds full authority to act on behalf of C5MI in all matters related to contract performance during the Site Manager’s absence. This role ensures continuity of operations and upholds the standards of service, compliance, and leadership required under contract.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
· Provides direct supervision and leadership to Contractor personnel, ensuring professional execution of contract requirements.
· Plan and manage daily operations to optimize resource utilization and meet performance standards.
· Coaches and mentors supervisors and team leads to promote accountability, efficiency, and team development.
· Ensures accurate and timely submission of reports and documentation in accordance with contract terms.
· Identifies and corrects inefficient or wasteful practices, implementing cost-saving measures and quality controls.
· Maintains operational continuity and serves as the acting point of contact for the Government when the Site Manager is unavailable.
· Supports the execution of services in a manner that meets schedule, cost, and quality expectations.
· Communicates effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders, demonstrating strong oral and written communication skills.
· Adheres to all certified processes as part of our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and information security, which includes actively participating in quality assurance activities and ensuring the protection of sensitive information in accordance with our security policies.
· Performs other related tasks as assigned by direct supervisor.
Required/Desired Qualifications:
· At least 3 years of experience in Distribution Management OR at least 7 years of experience in distribution operations of similar size and complexity.
· Minimum of 2 years of experience using automated warehouse management systems within the past 5 years.
· Demonstrated ability to plan, control, and manage operational activities effectively.
· Experience supporting government contracts or working in regulated environments preferred.
· Familiarity with logistics software, reporting tools, and continuous improvement methodologies preferred.
· Must be a U.S. citizen and have an active secret clearance

Compensation:
In accordance with pay transparency law, the expected salary range for this position is $94,000 – $130,000 annually. The actual compensation offered will be determined based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. We are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. This posted range reflects our good faith estimate of the compensation we reasonably expect to offer for this role at the time of posting.
