Cloud Business Analyst- Secret Clearance

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Cloud Business Analyst to support a Cloud O&M and Modernization contract fully onsite in Ft. Meade, MD . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure and AWS cloud platforms and a strong background in bridging the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders. This role involves gathering requirements, creating user stories, and facilitating communication across diverse teams to ensure successful delivery of cloud modernization initiatives.

Must have active Secret Clearance

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
• Develop and maintain user stories, use cases, and process flows to support agile development and cloud modernization efforts.
• Facilitate and lead meetings, workshops, and interviews to elicit requirements and drive consensus.
• Work closely with cloud engineers, developers, and project managers to ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions.
• Support the development and maintenance of Azure and AWS-based systems, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
• Assist in the creation of test plans and participate in system testing and validation.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to strategic planning efforts

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst or in a similar role.
• Proven experience working with Azure and AWS cloud platforms.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Active Secret Clearance is required.
• Must be able to work onsite at Ft. Meade, MD .

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting federal government contracts.
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, or Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and cloud modernization strategies.

Compensation:

$100,000 - $109,000 ** depending on experience and degree**
