We are searching for a Systems Engineer to support PMA-261 in Patuxent River, Maryland. Precise Systems is seeking an experienced to provide support to PMA-262 for the MQ-4C Triton program. The successful candidate will apply engineering principles, tools, and practices to improve systems design, integration, and lifecycle management across the acquisition process in support of the Systems Engineering, Integration and Testing (SEIT) Lead.
Duties:
 
Required Education:
 
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) obtained from an "accredited college or university" as recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
Allowable substitution:
 
Associate's Degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
 
OR
 
Four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
Required Experience:
 
Three (3) - Ten (10) years of experience performing Systems Engineering related duties as described in the functional responsibilities, with at least three (3) years directly related to naval aviation systems desired.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Compensation at Precise Systems is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $68.090.08 to $102,135.12 (annualized USD). This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of Precise Systems' total compensation package.

We are searching for a Systems Engineer to support PMA-261 in Patuxent River, Maryland. Precise Systems is seeking an experienced to provide support to PMA-262 for the MQ-4C Triton program. The successful candidate will apply engineering principles, tools, and practices to improve systems design, integration, and lifecycle management across the acquisition process in support of the Systems Engineering, Integration and Testing (SEIT) Lead.
Duties:
- Provide technical support for full system engineering life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, integration, test, and implementation.
- Research, propose and implement technical solutions to problems of interest as derived from program requirements.
- Support SEIT Lead to oversee coordination of engineering efforts for PMA262, ensuring horizontal and vertical integration across all engineering elements
- Support the development and maintenance of SysML models for the MQ-4C Triton across all phases of the acquisition lifecycle.
- Assist in requirements analysis, architecture development, and verification/validation planning using SysML and MBSE tools (e.g., MagicDraw/Cameo Systems Modeler, Rhapsody).
- Translate stakeholder and system requirements into functional and physical architectures.
- Facilitate model reviews, provide technical input during design and trade studies, and support configuration control of MBSE artifacts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) including software, hardware, and human systems integration teams.
- Ensure alignment with DoD acquisition and NAVAIR Systems Engineering Technical Review processes, NAWCAD engineering policies, and PMA-262 priorities.
- Generate technical documentation, briefings, and analysis reports to support engineering and programmatic decision-making.
- Working knowledge of the DoD acquisition lifecycle and MIL-STD systems engineering practices.
- International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) Associate Systems Engineering Professional (ASEP)/Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) certification.
- Experience supporting PMA-262 programs or Naval Aviation weapons systems.
- Experience with DoD Acquisition Risk Management processes and methodologies.
