Job Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Webster Outlying Field (WOLF) Special Communications Mission Solutions (SCMS) Division provides in-service engineering and full lifecycle support for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) systems. Operating under the oLSI® model, the SCMS Division supports Tactical and Remote Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, and Intelligence (C5I) Edge Systems (TARCES). These systems are integrated across commercial and militarized vehicles, small and large crafts, mobile and fixed base stations, transit cases, command centers, and intelligence operations environments.

The Advanced Computer Systems Analyst will provide technical expertise for the analysis, design, and implementation of integrated communications and security systems. This role focuses on optimizing system performance, enabling secure and resilient communications, and enhancing real-time analytics and event management across RF, 5G, edge, and cloud infrastructures. This position is considered Key and will be available upon contract award. We are seeking candidates who are will to accept contingent offers immediately.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the analysis, integration, and optimization of networked communications and security systems supporting TARCES environments.
  • Evaluate complex system architectures to identify performance, reliability, and cybersecurity enhancements.
  • Design and implement automation workflows and data processes to improve operational efficiency and resiliency.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to integrate RF, 5G small cell, and cloud-based solutions into secure communications platforms.
  • Provide technical leadership and oversight in system administration, monitoring, and maintenance of mission-critical infrastructure.
  • Ensure cybersecurity best practices, configuration management, and information assurance standards are applied throughout all system environments.
  • Recommend technical solutions, perform system performance assessments, and maintain documentation in accordance with project and government requirements.

  • Qualifications
  • Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Hold one of the following certifications: CISM, CISSO, FITSP-M, GCIA, GCSA, GCIH, GSLC, GICSP, CISSP-ISSMP, or CISSP;
    OR
    Hold a master's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science from an ABET-accredited or CAE-designated institution;
    OR
    Possess an equivalent military occupational specialty in cyber, information systems, or signal operations (such as 4C-FA26A, M09CHN1, A-531-0009, A-531-0045, ACQ 160 + ISA 220).
  • Demonstrated experience with complex system integration, workflow development, and technical leadership in analytics or event management environments.
  • Experience supporting mission-critical or defense-related systems preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
