Job Description
The NAWCAD WOLF Special Communications Mission Solutions (SCMS) Division provides in-service engineering and life-cycle support for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) systems. Operating under the oLSI® model, the SCMS Division supports Tactical and Remote Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, and Intelligence (C5I) Edge Systems (TARCES) deployed across commercial and militarized vehicles, small and large crafts, transit cases, mobile communications units, fixed base stations, command centers, and intelligence systems.
The purpose of this position is to provide technical, engineering, and operational support for the design, deployment, and sustainment of TARCES capabilities, enabling robust and secure communication and computing solutions across diverse environments. This position is considered Key and will be available upon contract award. We are seeking candidates who are will to accept contingent offers immediately.
Responsibilities
  • Support the design, installation, and testing of electrical systems that enable secure RF communications, 5G small cell infrastructure, edge computing assets, and automated security gates.
  • Assist with deployment and configuration of RF repeaters to ensure full facility and field coverage.
  • Integrate tactical radio systems with 5G cellular networks while maintaining interoperability and compliance with mission requirements.
  • Perform power connection, validation, and troubleshooting of deployed communication and computing hardware.
  • Coordinate with facility owners and system stakeholders to identify, communicate, and document electrical and power infrastructure needs for TARCES environments.
  • Provide technical solutions that align with the SCMS Division's oLSI® framework in support of solution engineering, network and server administration, Configuration Management (CM), infrastructure and cable plant technology, applications development/operation, and cybersecurity/Information Assurance (IA).

  • Qualifications
    Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline.
  • Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Minimum of three years of relevant professional experience in electrical, network, or communications engineering.
  • Working knowledge of secure RF and wired communication systems, 5G infrastructure, and edge computing platforms.
  • Familiarity with military or commercial C5I/C5ISR systems integration and infrastructure support.
  • Ability to analyze power distribution systems, interpret schematics, and apply troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce technical documentation and reports.
  • Desired Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Department of Defense programs or NAVWAR/NAWCAD systems.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity and IA compliance related to communication systems.
