ClearanceJobs’ is assisting our client in hiring a DOD Account Executive to lead sales of SaaS licenses, PaaS offerings and additional services in “white space” territory.

This is a full-time remote position with approximately 25% travel offering a salary + benefits package + commission plan. An active DOD Top Secret Clearance is required.

Candidates must have proven experience prospecting, building a sales pipeline, qualifying opportunities, and conducting capabilities presentations.

Summary: The DOD Account Executive is responsible for Defense sector customer business, understands how to navigate complex procurement processes and possesses a trustworthy reputation within NAVY, USSF, USAF, and DIA other Defense departments and agencies.

Responsibilities
• Exceed your $1M quota through strategic and relentless prospecting and development of your sales pipeline
• Help develop compelling product positioning and messages to specific to the DoD's mission, competitive drivers, sales channels, and more
• Build relationships with customers based on trust and transparency resulting in network referrals that ultimately build brand awareness
• Create and execute go-to-market plans that result in predictable and increasing quarterly forecasts
• Build a diverse pipeline of opportunities resulting in consistent and accurate forecasting
• Establish internal relationships with our Solution Architects, Customer Success Managers departments allowing you to provide expert advice to prospects related to technical concepts, product roadmaps, solutions implementations, training, and more.

Required
• DOD Top Security Clearance
• A background in enterprise SaaS sales focused on customers and prospects in the US Department of Defense; specific National Security sales experience preferred (investigations, proprietary data, or cybersecurity knowledge a plus)
• Experience leading the entire sales process from discovery calls to contract negotiation to closing deals
• Experience dealing with systems integrators, resellers, distributors and other partners to extend our reach in the local market
