You may qualify at the GS-07 level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirement:
 
One year of specialized experience in the same or similar work equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (GS-05) requiring application of the knowledge, skills, and abilities of the position being filled. Candidates for this position must clearly demonstrate in their resume that they possess specialized experience in: helping with mechanical system utility problems; assisting with troubleshooting basic Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), mechanical system automation, and mechanical distribution systems; participating in preventative maintenance programs; and assisting as a project manager and Contracting Officer's representative on assigned projects and tasks.

One full year of graduate level education which demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of this position, OR successfully completed all the requirements for a bachelor's degree and am claiming Superior Academic Achievement. In order to be creditable under this provision, Superior Academic Achievement must have been gained in a curriculum that is qualifying for the position to be filled, such as that identified above.
