Job Description
The contractor will provide Information Assurance (IA) support to Air Force Wing and Squadron-level units within the Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS) at Joint-Base Langley-Eustis, VA. Supports cybersecurity risk management activities by conducting and documenting risk assessments, developing System Security Plans (SSPs) and Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms), and maintaining continuous oversight of mission-critical systems through all Authority to Operate (ATO) and Interim Authorization to Test (IATT) phases. Executes inspections of computer systems, software, and magnetic media during SCIF installation and removal activities, and evaluates firewall exception requests, network service requests (NSRs), and port service requests (PSRs) for compliance and operational necessity. Ensures adherence to DoD IA policies and security standards, identifies and reports security incidents, and develops capability-based IA requirements aligned with mission, regulatory, and resource constraints. Coordinates IA solutions with product developers, acquisition personnel, and mission operators through daily support activities and recurring integration forums. The contractor must be able to work independently and collaboratively with enterprise stakeholders and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Possesses advanced mission knowledge and demonstrates full proficiency associated with the labor category's required training and experience.
Synthesizes complex, incomplete, indirect, or technically advanced information and structures analysis using multi-source reporting, trends, and cross-disciplinary perspectives.
Operates independently with minimal oversight, managing assigned tasks and priorities efficiently.
Collaborates effectively with IC partners to share information, support collection efforts, and resolve analytic differences or disputes.
Produces clear, concise, and comprehensive intelligence products to support defense decision-making.
Leads analytic teams on complex or critical problem sets, guiding methodology selection, research design, and analytic rigor; evaluates differing viewpoints and applies validated analytic techniques to drive sound conclusions.
Required Skills
Must possess a current TS/SCI clearance and DOD 8570.01 certifications prior to assignment
Required Experience: At least 6 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
Required Education: Bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, or have associate's degree from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and an additional 4 years of related experience, for a total of 10 years, as a substitute to the bachelor's degree.

Applicants possessing extensive working knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF), Assessment and Authorizations (A&A), Xacta IA Manager and / or Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service ( eMASS ) A&A workflow platforms are highly desired
Familiarity with Remedy, Active Directory, Remote Desktop, Windows 10, and SharePoint. Experience installing and configuring software, hardware and networks. Experience monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues. Knowledge of scripting and automation tools such as MS PowerShell is highly desired. Previous experience with secure and unsecure communication network routing protocols, routers and cryptologic devices is also highly desired.
