Job Title: Software Developer
Location: Ft. Belvoir, VA (Onsite, 5 days a week)\
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to join the DTIC team at Ft. Belvoir. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Azure Data Factory (ADF), Angular, and Java, with a strong understanding of secure software development practices. This position requires onsite work five days a week and an active Security+ certification.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain applications and data solutions using Azure Data Factory, Angular, and Java.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features and enhancements.
Integrate data sources and optimize data pipelines within Azure environments.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry standards.
Perform system testing, debugging, and performance tuning.
Ensure all development aligns with DoD security and compliance requirements.
Support troubleshooting, deployments, and updates in a dynamic operational environment.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years of experience in software development using Java and Angular.
Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory and related Azure cloud services.
Active CompTIA Security+ certification (required).
Ability to work onsite at Ft. Belvoir, VA, five days per week.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working within DoD or federal IT environments.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, or other data visualization tools.
