Description
SAIC is seeking a, Fully Remote, Enterprise Monitoring Network Administrator to support the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on the Revolutionary Information Technology Services (RITS) contract to monitor the enterprise network systems and log data.

SAIC is seeking a, Fully Remote, Enterprise Monitoring Network Administrator to support the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on the Revolutionary Information Technology Services (RITS) contract to monitor the enterprise network systems and log data.
NOTE: This is a Fully Remote / Work from Home position.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Conduct monitoring, critical alert handling, incident resolution, ticket queue management, customer service actions, and other enterprise network operations activities in the USACE IT/G-6 environment, IAW DoD, Army, and USACE IT/G6 policies and procedures.
- Install, upgrade, and maintain Microsoft Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux servers on VM platforms.
- Install, upgrade, maintain, and provide training/documentation for a suite of Monitoring Tools.
- Interface with Customers from all levels of the organization and must demonstrate an understanding of how Enterprise Systems impact each Customer's work to implement the Tools in a comprehensive, Customer-facing fashion.
- Provide individual and group training on the tool set and will be able to write technical and policy documentation as needed for a team of network engineers and technicians supporting our customer, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Revolutionary IT Services (RITS) program.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree and two (2)+ years of related experience; additional four (4) years or experience accepted in lieu of degree.
- Experience maintaining server operating systems running on physical and VM platforms.
- Experience installing, upgrading and maintain monitoring application software running on a variety of Operating Systems.
- A solid understanding of WAN Concepts and Data Circuits (T1's, MPLS, VPN and Enterprise VPN, SONET, Ethernet, Fiber, etc...).
- Willingness to work on a rotating On Call Schedule.
- Install, Upgrade, and Maintain Microsoft Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux servers on VM platforms.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
- Must have a current DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification (Security+ CE, CySA+ CE, CASP+, etc.) to be considered for this position.
REQUIRED CLEARANCES:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance; SAIC will help to obtain.
- Must be a current US Citizen.
