Job Description: 
• Provide system administration services daily. Support services may be required outside of normal core hours for recovery and scheduled monthly maintenance actions.
• Maintain computer security in accordance with the DoDEA IT Automated Information System Security Plan.
• Provide Tier III expert support of the DoDEA-wide e-mail system.
• Engineer and manage enterprise service requirements impacting IT servers, storage, and Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP).
• Perform systems implementation analysis, providing expert recommendation to Government using best industry practices with efficiencies.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, administer, upgrade, and server system hardware. Determine the server that best meets the needs of the Government, as requested.
• Create data retention, backup process and plans for the restoration of data; meeting security, configuration and performance goals.
• Maintain DODEA enterprise software configuration standards.
• Scheduling system downtime for maintenance and restore system integrity.
• Manage the warranty and repair of enterprise equipment.
• Proactively manage the reliability and uptime of all enterprise IT resources.
• Perform updates and patches on all enterprise IT resources.
Required Qualifications:
• Active DoD Secret Clearance
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (Security+ CE)
• Microsoft Active Directory, Azure, Powershell, and SCCM experience.

• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work with little supervision.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal skills to assist non-technical individuals with complex technical issues.
