The Work
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cyber Systems Engineer. In this role, you will support a program within the IWSS organization, ensuring the security, reliability, and integrity of a system of systems.
Your responsibilities will include:
Apply your technical expertise in a collaborative fashion, to plan, design, develop, validate, and verify cybersecurity solutions across the system lifecycle.
Conduct cyber risk assessment activities including threat modeling, vulnerability analysis and analysis of mitigation solutions.
Develop, evaluate, and analyze design constrains, trade-offs and detailed system and security design as they pertain to the cyber domain.
Coordinate with other cybersecurity engineers, system architects, and developers to provide oversight in the development of robust solutions.
Conduct cybersecurity test and evaluation of hardware and/or software designs to verify and validate compliance with defined specifications and requirements.
Employ cybersecurity processes, methods, techniques, and tools and assure their consistent application.
Implement appropriate assessment and authorization activities, as required by customers.
Support proposals activities by providing inputs to technical volumes, developing cybersecurity basis of estimates, and participating in Independent Technical Reviews (ITRs).
Support coordination of cybersecurity functional metrics for your program, to include: productivity, earn value management, cost estimating, and staffing.

This position is full time on site and can be located at either Mt. Laurel, New Jersey a campus connected to Lockheed Martin, Moorestown, NJ or the Moorestown, NJ Site. which is a major engineering and technology hub for Lockheed Martin.
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD government clearance at the Secret level.
This position requires a Sec+ or similar certification.

Basic Qualifications:
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD government clearance at the Secret level.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline (such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering), with 5 years of related professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related master's degree.
5+ years of technical systems engineering experience with DOD systems.
DoD 8570 or DoD 8140 approved baseline certification for IAT Level II (IE CompTIA Security+, GSEC SSCP, CCNA-Security).
Knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process and Cyber Resiliency Engineering.
Desired Skills:
Active SECRET security clearance, and ability to maintain the security clearance.
Experience in decomposing Cyber requirements and applying STIGs- down to the CCI level.
Knowledge of Cyber Software Assurance.
Knowledge of Cyber System Architecture solutions or Zero Trust Architecture Strategy.
Experience in statement of work (SOW) and supplier statement of work (SSOW) development.
Ability to provide status and communicate effectively with internal and external customers (e.g., Program Management, Customer Counterparts, and Supply Chain Vendors).
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

The base range for this position in New Jersey is $91,000 - $172,488.
