Analytic Methodologist - TS/SCI
Required Skills & Qualifications:
7+ years of demonstrated experience applying quantitative and qualitative techniques to solve complex analytic problems. Experience should include tools and methodologies such as GIS, quantitative methods, data visualization, modeling, systems analysis, comparative analysis, and database development.
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field may substitute for 3 years of experience; a Master’s degree may substitute for 2 years.
Proven expertise in data mining, cleansing, and exploration of spatial, temporal, and non-spatial data—across both structured and unstructured formats.
Demonstrated proficiency with programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, SQL), modeling software, spatial analysis tools, data mining methods, database structures, and analytic information extraction and visualization.
Active TS/SCI clearance required, with the ability to obtain a CI Polygraph.
Senior-Level Expectations:
Senior Analytic Methodologists are expected to lead, integrate, and define analytic tasks and validate outcomes. Individuals at this level demonstrate advanced expertise and independence in their field, fully capable of delivering all required services without supervision.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior and mid-level analysts.
Conducting quality control and assurance reviews of analytic work products.
Offering subject matter expertise and advisory support to Government leadership on processes, procedures, and emerging technologies.
Leading collaborative efforts across NGA and the Intelligence Community to produce synergized, mission-driven analysis that exceeds individual contributions.
Delivering senior-level analytic and operational support to NGA office-level leadership.
