Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Preparing course materials in the field of law enforcement; 2) Providing up-to-date material and information to students; 3) Conducting lectures, discussions, conferences, and demonstrations on law enforcement, investigative techniques, procedures, and practical applications; 4) Identifying training needs and requirements of each law enforcement student, ensuring training is scheduled and completed. This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
PPP applicants will be placed at the FPL, if determined Well Qualified (WQ). To receive priority consideration, the FPL must be the same grade level or equivalent of the retained grade or the grade held immediately prior to separation.
Military Spouse Preference applicants will be placed at the highest grade for which they have applied and are determined Best Qualified (BQ). A BQ military spouse possesses knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies comparable to others who meet the competitive referral criteria for the specific position.

- You will develop law enforcement training programs, schedules, personnel actions, and operating plans for a police force.
- You will facilitate classroom studies for law enforcement personnel using instructional techniques or formats (e.g., role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos, lectures).
- You will conduct field inspection of weapons assigned to law enforcement personnel.
- You will monitor assigned weapons to ensure accountability.
- You will identify law enforcement employee development needs to verify performance goals are met.

- Required to wear a uniform and comply with grooming standards.
- Must have a valid state driver license.
