Mission:
Champion security and compliance for the ServiceNow as a Service (SNaaS) platform under the Cloud CITI initiative, ensuring RMF requirements and ATOaaS authorization are continuously maintained to support platform integrity.
Position Summary:
As the senior cybersecurity authority for SNaaS, the ISSE develops and manages RMF security artifacts, drives risk assessment and governance, and embeds robust compliance throughout the secure platform lifecycle. This highly visible role interfaces with technical, project, and stakeholder teams to integrate enterprise security and mitigate risk.
Key Responsibilities:
• Author, maintain, and manage RMF security documentation (SSPs, SARs, POA&Ms) and ensure version control
• Perform technical risk assessments for platform changes, upgrades, and evidence package validation for NIST 800-53 and eMASS compliance
• Represent the program in governance forums (CCB, ISSM briefings, RMF reviews) and document all change/risk decisions
• Review and approve customer security requests (admin access, new data types, integrations) and formulate official security positions
• Advise technical teams on secure configuration, lead incident response, and integrate compliance across operations
Qualifications:
• 7+ years cyber experience emphasizing RMF system authorization and compliance
• Expertise in RMF artifact management and NIST 800-53 controls
• Hands-on eMASS and governance presentation experience
• Strong technical risk analysis and stakeholder communication
• Familiarity with ServiceNow ITSM (preferred)
Requirements:
• Active Secret clearance or eligibility
• CISSP required (IAT III/IAM III DoD 8140 compliant)
• Recommended: CAP, CISM, CCSP, PMP; ServiceNow CSA/ITIL v4 optional
