Job Description

As a Security Officer - Aero/Defense Patrol Specialist in Appleton, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a leading aerospace and defense location. Your primary duties will include conducting routine patrols of assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.17 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies tailored to the needs of the aerospace and defense environment.
• Assist in emergency response activities as needed, following protocols relevant to the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner to help maintain order on site.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and monitor for suspicious behavior.
• Document security-related observations and report incidents to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership as required.
• Monitor access control points and support visitor management processes as directed by site-specific guidelines.
• Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and support the overall security plan for the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
