Job Description

As a Security Officer - Patrol Aero/Defense Clearance Required in OLDSMAR, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in an advanced aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for all personnel. Your presence and routine patrols help to deter security-related incidents while you deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or potential hazards encountered during patrol duties.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site policy.
• Communicate and coordinate with Allied Universal management, local staff, and/or emergency personnel as situations arise.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports as directed by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Active Department of Defense Top Secret Clearance is required.
• Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
