We are currently looking for a Senior Google Enterprise Network Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of high-performing network infrastructures that meet the needs of our enterprise clients, specifically leveraging Google Cloud technologies and solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance network performance, security, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructure solutions across a government-owned, campus-wide CISCO LAN and Google Cloud environment.
- Design network requirements and technical specifications from concept through completion, ensuring reliable and secure operations.
- Support and optimize Gigabit switching, routing systems, and cloud-based network connectivity between internal servers, cloud platforms, and external networks.
- Provide hands-on technical support for hybrid infrastructure integration, ensuring seamless interoperability between on-premises and cloud environments.
- Ensure all network and cloud systems adhere to government regulations, cybersecurity standards, and operational best practices.
- Collaborate with the Vendor Project Manager (PM), Contracting Officer's Technical Representatives (COTRs), and government user representatives to deliver accurate solutions and maintain high user satisfaction.
- Analyze existing network and cloud architectures to identify areas for improvement and recommend modernization strategies.
- Support the planning and implementation of network and cloud modernization initiatives to enhance performance, scalability, and mission success across the enterprise.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Five (5) years of progressive Information Technology (IT) experience including at least two projects in technical areas included in the related task area specified in the Statement of Work. At least one project must have occurred within the past three (3) years.
- Three (3) Hands on experience with DoD IT hosting solutions
- Expert experience with a COTS 10 Gigabit Ethernet LAN and associated software and hardware equipment
- Must hold an active Secret clearance
Certifications:
- DoD 8570 IAT II (i.e. Security+, SSCP)
- CISCO Certified Network Associate
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
