- The LC Marine Mechanical Engineer (Propulsion) will help provide engineering technical and management support in studying, analyzing, and evaluating engineering problems, and developing solutions.
- Support will include assisting in the development of contract documentation and the development of technical plans, specifications, cost estimates relating to the various categories of engineering support services, studies provided, and associated reports.
- This position will be part of a contract team to assist in the preparation of a wide range of engineering and feasibility studies, providing engineering and technical support for design review, performance feasibility studies, and designs of ships, boat, and shipboard systems in support of existing and future vessel acquisition programs.
- Able to carry out directions from senior engineers to perform design calculations and studies.
- Conduct analyses and calculations on piping, propulsion systems, and configuration.
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- A secret security clearance
