Sellers & Associates has an opening for an Project Manager III, NAVSEA Code 443/ NSWCPD Code 252 support. NSWCPD provides program and platform leadership to the Command and the Navy to execute Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E) Machinery System integration initiatives through the successful management of Research and Development, Acquisition, Test and Evaluation, In-Service Engineering and Modernization programs. These programs allow NSWCPD to remain as the Navy’s primary choice for HM&E Machinery Systems Engineering.
The Project Manager will be responsible for providing comprehensive project support, including data analysis, tracking program objectives, and managing various program initiatives. The Project Manager will leverage strong analytical skills, project management expertise, and Navy-specific and engineering knowledge to assist in driving key outcomes.
Provides engineering, technical, and managerial support for problem definition, analysis, requirement development and implementation for systems in the engineering discipline being installed on ships as a machinery alteration (MACHALT).
Prepares routine plans, designs, specifications, estimates, and reports.
May perform risk assessments and analysis.
Coordinate and manage various program activities, ensuring they align with Department of Navy requirements and project objectives.
Develop and maintain project schedules, including task tracking and milestone monitoring, using tools such as MS Project and Gantt charts.
Support the development of Program of Actions and Milestones (POA&M) and Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)
Must be a US citizen
Bachelors degree or professional qualification in engineering or a related field
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access)
5+ years supporting U.S. Navy programs or other DOD agencies
Must have an active secret clearance
