The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Safety Specialist (Associate or Mid-Level) to join the team in Berkeley, MO and be part of a world-class company.
This position will serve as the Safety Specialist for the St. Louis Region. Directly supporting the internal compliance, risk management, and change management throughout the region. Including programs such as F-47, F-15, F/A-18, MQ-25, T-7A, Service Life Management, Weapons (Direct Attack and Cruise Missile Systems) among serval others. A role that enables the Department of Defense and Foreign Military Sales customers to execute their vital national defense missions. Additionally, the Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) team and this role supports the production, maintenance, repair and overhaul of Boeing facilities and assets. The duties for this role included but are not limited to supporting incident investigation, implementation of company safety standards and best practices, and providing information and metrics in support of achieving functional and business goals and objectives through effective project management, interpersonal skills and effective communication both vertically and horizontally within the organization. The selected candidate will be part of developing and promoting a culture of safety where human life and health is valued, it is our belief that all injuries and incidents are preventable, and safety is the key to a strong business.
The selected candidate will additionally travel to St. Charles, MO; Hazelwood, MO; and Mascoutah, IL to support business priorities.

- Capability to travel 10% of the time
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Associate Safety Professional or Certified Safety Professional certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals
- 3+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years of experience managing projects
