Come join Lockheed's Strategic Reentry Programs in the Summer of 2026. This group of diverse Engineers has a long history of supporting the Air Force Mission reaching back to the 1960's. Today's challenge is to support the modernization of the Minuteman Weapon System by crafting, building, testing and deploying new Reentry Systems and Ground Equipment that will enable the new system to perform for many years to come. This critical mission area must be done right, pass meticulous certifications and last for many years to come. If this challenge is for you, you belong in SRP.
The position will support work in all systems engineering phases that could include requirements definition, allocation, maintenance, system architecture, integration and testing support. Supports various system analyses in support of mission planning and execution.
Basic Qualifications:
• Actively enrolled in an Electrical, Computer Engineering, Mechanical, Aerospace, Math or other related degree program from an accredited university or college.
• Knowledge and or training in the integration of requirements, design and technology during the design and development of complex systems. Knowledge of product development and associated development life cycle.
• Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills:
• Active DoD Secret clearance or above
• Solid math and science background a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity or proficiency with the following engineering tools: Model Center, Cameo (NoMagic) aligned with UAF® using Unified Profile for DoDAF/MODAF (UPDM™) 3.0 modeling standard and UML/SysML, DOORS
• Familiarity with electrical and hardware test planning and execution
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, synergetic team environment
• Demonstrated basic understanding of systems thinking skills and behaviors
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
