Description:What you will be doing:
This position will be part of the Aircraft Maintenance Team supporting F-35 Field level modifications and Time Compliance Technical Order (TCTO) activities at MCAS Iwakuni, Japan. Performs inspection of aircraft for functional operation and conformance to government and company standards and specifications. Inspects the installation and operation of electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, oil, and emergency systems and other parts and equipment of the aircraft. Ensure aircraft are in good mechanical condition and safe for flight. Ability to plan/conduct Process Compliance Surveillance Program (PCSP) audits. Ability to conduct incident and/or mishap investigation audits, prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information, and trends including failed process, recalls, corrective actions, and validations. Ensures aircraft records are updated and maintained. Keep the associated maintenance manager updated with quality status of aircraft. Business travel may be required.

Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 2-years Fighter Quality Assurance experience

Minimum 5-years aircraft operations experience

Experience in reading and comprehending blueprints, engineering specifications and drawings, technical data and planning documents

Experience in using various inspection measurement tools

Considered candidates must be capable of working first (1st), second (2nd), or third (3rd) shift(s) dependent on customer needs.

Must have or be able to obtain / maintain a Secret Security Clearance.

Must be a US Citizen.

Must have an Interim Secret Clearance prior to starting.
Desired Skills:
F-35 Experience

Have a minimum USAF 7-Level skill rating or USMC Level 4 MATMEP rating. (or equivalent experience).

Experience with AS9100 Quality systems.

Experience with DCMA 8210 Contractor's Flight and Ground Operations

Knowledgeable of Safety, Tool Control, Foreign Object Damage (FOD) Prevention, Supply, Hazardous Material (HAZMAT), Quality, and Security programs.

Aircraft Modification experience.

Experience in fighter aircraft quality processes and procedures.

Experience in fighter aircraft crew escape systems (i.e. canopy and ejection seat)
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
