Position Overview

Creek Technologies pending contract reward with Brooke Army Medical Center is seeking an experienced IT Service Desk Specialist - Level II to provide advanced technical support to end users. This role serves as an escalation point for moderate to highly complex hardware, software, and system issues while delivering specialized support and guidance. Level II specialists perform a wider variety of tasks with greater independence than Level I, providing critical assistance during peak workloads and off-hours coverage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to end-user questions and technical issues via phone, email, or chat.
  • Analyze problems and provide guidance, support, and advice for hardware, software, and systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve moderate to highly complex technical issues for users.
  • Serve as the escalation point for Level I technicians, providing specialized support for complex problems.
  • Support call overflow during peak periods and provide coverage during off-peak hours.
  • Document incidents, solutions, and support actions accurately in the ticketing system.
  • Collaborate with other IT staff to implement solutions and maintain system reliability.
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to junior support staff as needed.

Required Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of four (4) years of progressive experience providing IT support or related technical assistance.
  • Certifications:
    • IAT II: Must meet DoD 8570.01-M certification requirements.
    • CE: Associate-level (professional preferred) certification for supported technology, as approved by the COR.
  • Security Requirement: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Tier 3 (T3) background investigation
