Position Description
ENSCO is seeking an experienced Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support the Combatant Command Intelligence Enterprise Management Support Office (CCI EMSO). The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the organization's cybersecurity posture through policy development, risk management, and system protection activities. This position is on-site at our Warrenton, VA office.

Position Description
ENSCO is seeking an experienced Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support the Combatant Command Intelligence Enterprise Management Support Office (CCI EMSO). The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the organization's cybersecurity posture through policy development, risk management, and system protection activities. This position is on-site at our Warrenton, VA office.
Duties will include:
- Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures.
- Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and respond promptly to security incidents.
- Coordinate with IT and engineering teams to integrate security measures into system designs.
- Provide security training, guidance, and support to staff.
- Prepare and present detailed security status reports to management.
- Ensure compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, and organizational requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with external auditors, assessors, and regulatory bodies.
- Develop and maintain Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plans.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) and 7+ years of related experience.
- Knowledge of conducting regular security audits and assessments to ensure compliance and operational readiness.
- Familiarity with emerging cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
- Experience managing and maintaining security tools, such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems
- Must hold or be able to obtain CISSP certification within 30 days of employment.
- Demonstrated prior experience serving as an ISSO.
- AN ACTIVE DOD TOP SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE with SCI ELIGIBILITY IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION, FOR WHICH YOU MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN.
- Experience supporting or operating within cloud environments.
- Experience working with an Intelligence organization.
- Experience supporting a Combatant Command or similar defense organization.
