Job Title: Full Stack Software Engineer - PIR Platform O&M (24×7 Operations)

Task Alignment: TORP §2.1 - Operations & Maintenance
Location: Wright-Patterson AFB, OH (Onsite Shift Work)
Clearance: TS OR TS/SCI
Certifications: IAT Level II (Security+)
Employment Type: Full-Time (24×7 Rotating Coverage)

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000

Overview
Support the continuous operation of NASIC's Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) Enterprise Platform - the cloud-hosted data backbone powering real-time intelligence analysis and GEOINT dissemination. As part of the 24×7 O&M team, you will help maintain mission-critical availability, system integrity, and performance across multiple operational environments vital to national defense.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain uptime, performance, and availability of OPIR Platform services across multiple networks.
  • Perform daily system administration, configuration, and patch management in RHEL environments.
  • Monitor platform health using Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenSearch Dashboards.
  • Troubleshoot production incidents, coordinate escalation with SMEs, and deliver after-action reports.
  • Support deployment and validation of new software capabilities transitioning into operations.
  • Manage system configurations and changes through approved release processes.
  • Record operational metrics, tickets, and outage summaries in Jira OPTIMUS and Confluence.


Required Skills

  • RHEL/Linux administration with shell and Python scripting.
  • System monitoring and troubleshooting using Prometheus, Grafana, OpenSearch.
  • Familiarity with containerized systems (Docker/Kubernetes) and core networking concepts.
  • Experience applying STIGs, IAVAs, and hardening procedures.
  • Understanding of Agile maintenance workflows and escalation processes.
