Job Overview
The Warehouse Manager serves as the on-site lead responsible for the overall management, accountability, and performance of warehouse operations in support of Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide daily supervision of warehouse personnel to ensure accurate and timely receipt, storage, issue, turn-in, and disposal of Government property.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with the COR and Government stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with Navy property accountability policies, security protocols, and safety standards.
- Oversee physical inventory, cycle counts, and reporting requirements, ensuring alignment with DPAS/NERP or other approved systems.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and enforce quality assurance measures.
- Track performance metrics and support monthly CDRL reporting in accordance with DI-MGMT-81991.
- Provide leadership in training, problem-solving, and surge or contingency operations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in DoD or federal warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with Navy or DoD property accountability systems.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a **SECRET clearance** (per DD254).
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Primary work location:
- Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division, Panama City, Florida.
Work is performed on-site at Government facilities to:
- Receive, store, and issue Government property.
- Maintain physical accountability records.
- Interface with COR and other Navy personnel.
- Meet security, safety, and operational requirements.
- No remote or hybrid work is expected for this role.
