Boeing Global Services (BGS) is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Mechanical Design Engineer (Associate and Mid-Level) to join our Support Equipment organization located in Ridley Park, PA.
This position is responsible for design and development of peculiar support equipment across multiple vertical lift platforms.

Associate-Level Summary Pay Range: $81,600 - $110,400
Mid-Level Summary Pay Range: $102,000 - $138,000

This position is responsible for design and development of peculiar support equipment across multiple vertical lift platforms.
Position Responsibilities:
- Create, update, and maintain accurate 3D models, technical drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) to support the efficient design and manufacture of Ground Support Equipment (GSE)
- Performs and documents analyses to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
- Collaborate with Aircraft Engineering, Logistics, Tech Pubs, Procurement and both Civilian & Military Customers to develop new design concepts and implement changes to existing designs
- Generate and process Engineering Change Requests (CRs) for releasing new designs or modifying existing ones.
- Provide supplier support for fabrication of GSE.
- Serve as a technical interface to customers and suppliers.
- Create Test Plans, Perform Testing and generate Test Reports.
- Visit suppliers and customers when necessary to support procurement, development and testing
- Support field service activities when required.
- Trains others.
- Works under general direction.
- This position is expected to be 100% onsite at the Ridley Park, PA location.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences).
- 2+ years of engineering experience.
- Experience using CATIA designing Detail Parts and Assemblies.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of higher education and/or related work experience. (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.)
- Experience with the use of Support Equipment and/or Tooling.
- Practical, hands-on maintenance experience and aptitude.
- Ability to independently perform engineering requirements tasks within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Working knowledge of GD&T and ASME Y14.5 drafting standards.
