Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS), Strategic Deterrent Systems Division Capture Excellence organization is seeking a full-time experienced Staff Proposal Analyst to join our Division Proposal Operations team of qualified diverse individuals. This position is located in Roy, UT. Flexible work arrangement is possible and will vary based on proposal assignments. The selected candidate must be willing and able to travel, as needed (up to 25%).

What You'll Get To Do:
As a Staff Proposal Analyst, you will apply proven proposal planning and execution strategies and processes to lead teams across the division to develop successful, compliant, compelling, and on-time proposal submissions. The proposals you will work include top Priority Wins and other major competitive and sole source pursuits. Active secret clearance to start or lapsed secret clearance within 24 months position application, within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval. Candidates for this position will demonstrate a broad skill set that is balanced across leadership, collaboration, innovation, communication, project management, risk management, and proposal-based capabilities. This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Primary Level Salary Range: $122,100.00 - $183,100.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

- Collaborate with the Capture Manager and core team on proposal execution approach, team staffing, and roles and responsibilities
- Develop efficient and effective proposal execution plans in response to complex solicitations from U.S. Government and other customers
- Lead collaborative, engaged teams to develop, review, and submit proposals that effectively represent our strategy and baseline while eliminating non-compliances and limiting weaknesses
- Ensure adherence to schedule, and continually manage risk to address volatility in proposal requirements, deadlines, and our offering
- Support mentoring, coaching, and training a proposal team across the division
- Team player with strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to present concepts and recommendations to all levels within the organization.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:
- Bachelor's and 12 years' experience; Master's and 10 years of experience; or a PhD and 8 years' experience
- At least 1 year leading a team of direct reports or leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule
- At least three years of experience training, leading, and directing activities of team members through execution of a formal proposal process
- Current or prior experience working U.S. Government's acquisition process including federal procurement regulations (FAR/DFAR)
- Experience with regulatory compliance with a keen attention to detail
- Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application to start, or a lapsed U.S. Government DoD Secret clearance within 24 months of position application, within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Preferred at least 4 years working proposals for USG customers with at least 3 years in a lead role (PV >$50M)
- Experience with Department of Defense and Department of Energy related customers and proposals
- Active TS U.S. Government security clearance
