Northrop Grumman seeks a skilled Compliance Analyst with expertise in third-party due diligence to join a diverse team of compliance and legal professionals in the Northrop Grumman Corporation's (NGC) Legal Department's Compliance Operations team, based in Linthicum, Maryland.

Corporations worldwide face third-party risks from sales representatives, consultants, partners, suppliers, and other third parties integral to delivering goods, services, and operating global businesses. The Compliance Analyst will play a critical role in identifying, mitigating, and managing third-party risks through the application of anti-corruption policies, procedures, training programs, and risk-based due diligence processes.

Reporting to the Compliance Operations International Diligence Manager, this position requires in-office presence at the primary office location in Linthicum, Maryland.

Key responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:

  • Conduct thorough due diligence on third-party entities to assess compliance risks
  • Support the development and implementation of the third-party anti-corruption compliance policies and processes
  • Collaborate with the Compliance Operations team, Legal Department, Global Supply Chain, Internal Audit, Contracts, Business Development and other NGC organizations to facilitate the third-party due diligence review and approval processes, support third-party-related compliance projects, investigations, training, internal audits, risk assessments, metrics, reports, and other compliance matters
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on NGC's anti-corruption compliance policies, procedures, processes, and global online third-party due diligence management system
  • Provide proactive support to NGC business partners related to requests and inquiries relating to NGC's third-party due diligence and approval requirements and ITAR Part 130 requests to facilitate business objectives in a legally compliant manner
  • Review business applications for third-party requests submitted via NGC's global online third party due diligence management system and ensure all such applications include required information
  • Demonstrate exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, strategic thinking, and effective communication while managing multiple complex matters
  • Possessing strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) is required; this position requires working with online due diligence tools.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of Business Management, International Compliance, and/or Business Development related experience or Master's degree with 3 years of Business Management, International Compliance, and/or Business Development related experience.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Regulatory experience with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and in supporting anti-corruption compliance programs is a plus.
  • Advanced degree in business, international affairs, or law is a plus.


Primary Level Salary Range: $87,000.00 - $130,600.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
