We are producing the new Hypersonic vehicles for Air Force, Army and Navy. Join the Lockheed Martin team and be a part of the company that has developed and flown more hypersonic vehicles than any other U.S. Company. Lockheed Martin has decades of hypersonic development and flight test experience, from government contracts to internal investments in research and development projects, not to mention many Electronic Assembly Harness and Chassis manufacturing programs for missile systems, satellites and ground support equipment.
In this role, you will:
• Will oversee organization initiatives to improve and standardize Manufacturing Engineering
processes.
• Solve production problems and develop
working relationships with a multi-disciplined
team of people who are dedicated to effectively and efficiently plan and build electronic
assemblies.
• Knowledge base should include familiarity with cable harnesses and Electrical Ground Support Equipment.
• Serve as the spokesperson for the organization relating on significant matters relating to production operations.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to:
• React quickly under pressure, dealing with a broad customer base.
• Make decisions that affect the financial, employee, or public relations posture of the organization.
• Work under long range goals and objectives.
• Develop solutions to problems of unusual complexity while effectively identify, manage, mitigate, and control risk.
• Be a self-starter
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, with 3+ years of related
work experience; or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Experience with project management/oversight and ability to work with cross-functional team to achieve desired outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• General computer skills (MS Office Suite
Software).
• Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
• Ability to work in Courtland (primary location) and Huntsville as required
Desired Skills:
• Experience working in a large aerospace or automotive company
• Familiarity with Lockheed Martin Space or industry equivalent tools (ERP/SAP, EPDM, VECAMS, PMP Database, etc)
• Familiarity with the Manufacturing Engineering role, tasks, and involvement with the product lifecycle.
• Production Development or Manufacturing build experience
specifically Cable Harness or Electrical Ground Support Equipment
• Experience with creating Excel spreadsheets or similar software and managing large data sets
• Experience utilizing Tableau reporting tools and managing data.
• Experience utilizing JIRA or other similar software
• Active Secret clearance

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
