This Opportunity
Versar Global Solutions is seeking a qualified Project Manager to provide support to the US Navy and other US government agencies at Comalapa Air Base, El Salvador under the Base Operations Support contract.
The PM will be responsible for ensuring that all the services required are performed in accordance with the specifications of the US Government Contract. The PM may be required to perform additional collateral duties that may be needed to ensure accomplishment of other contract requirements as well as any additional unprogrammed, but necessary task or tasks identified and approved by the Government and the company.

Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Oversight: Provide strategic and day-to-day leadership across all site functions, ensuring delivery of services in accordance with contract requirements, schedules, and budgets. Represent the Company with professionalism, transparency, and accountability.
- Innovation & Efficiency: Champion technology adoption, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance reliability, streamline workflows, and reduce costs. Identify and implement tools or process changes that improve performance and reporting accuracy.
- Compliance & Governance: Enforce corporate policies, ethical standards, and security requirements across all operations. Ensure adherence to contract clauses, OPSEC protocols, safety procedures, and audit readiness. Maintain rigorous documentation and reporting practices.
- Workforce & Culture: Lead, mentor, and develop personnel to maintain a high-performing, safety-conscious, and collaborative environment. Promote professionalism, inclusion, and accountability at all levels.
- Financial Stewardship: Manage budgets and expenditures in alignment with corporate financial controls. Monitor cost efficiency and resource utilization to support long-term sustainability.
- Subcontractor & Stakeholder Relations: Coordinate effectively with subcontractors, vendors, and government representatives to ensure cohesive, compliant operations and timely issue resolution.
- Security & Risk Management: Uphold OPSEC, cybersecurity, and site safety standards, ensuring all personnel comply with U.S. and host-nation security directives.

Who You Are
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Possess an active SSBI U.S. Secret level Security Clearance
- Available on-site during the U.S. Government’s regular working hours Monday – Friday.
- 5-10 years experience in managing a workforce providing services on contracts of similar size, scope, and complexity
- 20 plus years of military experience as logistics and supply chain officer of the rank of Major or higher can be substituted
- PM with prior experience working in Latin America is a plus.
