Job Description

As a Security Officer - Tech/Media Security Clearance in Boulder, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your presence will serve as a reassuring point of contact, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and company protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents to Allied Universal management and/or site contacts.
• Assist with visitor and employee identification procedures, and provide directions or assistance as needed within the tech-related location.
• Complete required documentation for all incidents, patrols, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
