Job Description

As a Security Officer - Unarmed in Tucson, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Officer in an aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible throughout your shift. With a focus on providing excellent customer service and clear communication, you will interact with employees and visitors, manage access points, and assist with badge control. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible security-related presence.
• Document observations and incidents accurately and in a timely manner, reporting findings to appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client representatives as required.
• Assist visitors, employees and contractors with access control and site-specific inquiries while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Monitor and report any unusual activity, security-related risks, or hazards observed during patrols to support the overall security-related program.
• Participate in ongoing training sessions and briefings related to security-related procedures and emergency response specific to the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control systems and/or badge management is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
