What You'll Do:
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Monitor access points into and out of the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or prohibited items, following established Allied Universal procedures.
- Verify credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors to support access control standards at the location.
- Conduct security-related inspections of vehicles and personal belongings as required by site-specific policies.
- Respond to access control incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as appropriate to site management and/or emergency services.
- Provide customer service to all personnel entering the location, addressing questions and assisting in directing individuals according to access protocols.
- Perform regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter security-related issues and identify unusual activity.
- Document and report any security-related incidents, access control violations, or hazardous conditions according to Allied Universal and site guidelines.
- Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal team members to support the overall access control program at the manufacturing and industrial location.

- Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
- A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
- Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
