Koniag Emerging Technologies, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Project Manager to support KET and our government customer in Washington, DC. This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Public Trust. This is a hybrid opportunity 1 day required onsite.

Project Manager is responsible for comprehensive oversight of DOE OCIO PMO information technology programs, projects, and contract operations across single or multiple locations, ensuring alignment with federal IT governance requirements and enterprise objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
Program Leadership & Strategy:
  • Direct overall management of DOE OCIO program requirements, coordinating planning and execution of all mission-critical IT activities
  • Develop and review strategic program documentation including IT governance plans, technology assessments, cost-benefit analyses, and federal compliance deliverables
  • Establish IT policies, procedures, and standards ensuring conformance with DOE cybersecurity frameworks and federal information systems requirements
  • Coordinate preparation and consolidation of DOE OCIO IT budgets, acquisition strategies, and technology business plans
  • Manage cross-functional coordination between program teams and DOE central management functions

Technology Management & Innovation:
  • Analyze emerging information technologies and systems, providing strategic recommendations to DOE OCIO senior leadership on technology adoption and modernization initiatives
  • Facilitate planning, design, installation, and modification of enterprise information systems capabilities supporting DOE mission requirements
  • Ensure software solutions and IT products meet federal security standards and operational needs

Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Interface with senior DOE OCIO officials regarding IT program performance, project scheduling, and contract deliverable status
  • Provide technical guidance and program oversight ensuring successful delivery of federal IT initiatives and compliance with government regulations

Qualifications:
  • Federal IT experience, PMP certification preferred, security clearance required, expertise in federal acquisition regulations and DOE IT governance frameworks.
