Systems Administrator 2

Responsibilities

On a daily basis, the ideal candidate will have junior to mid-level skills to provide the following support:

• Handle customer support calls and issues in a Tier 1 / Tier 2 environment setting.
• Log into using a Domain Controller or Remote Server tool, navigating the Active Directory Interface managing user and group system access issues.
• Provide support using your understanding of Windows, some Linux, some VMWare / Hyper-V and or Remote Desktop.
• Have experience setting up, repairing basic computer equipment to include installing new or replacement of computer drives and memory.
• Ability to learn the understand and implementation of SQL Server Profiler (monitoring) and Agent (automation) tools.
• Ability to learn the setup and execution of scripts to perform basic queries of data or automation of system upgrades and backups.
• Ability to support direct or remote interface with customers on technical needs.
  Clearly communicates technical solutions with stakeholders and team members.

Qualifications

• Possess an active Top-Secret clearance required with the willingness to take an agency CI polygraph when requested.
• Have a High School Diploma (HS) and 8+ years experience, Associates Degree (AS) and 6+ years experience, Bachelors' Degree (BS) and 3+ years experience or a Masters' Degree (MS) and 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Possess effective communications skills and able to effectively brief audiences.
• Have the ability to organize work so assignments are completed in a timely manner, perform analysis and quickly resolve issues, multi-task, and or take direction from lead team members.

Pay Transparency Statement

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $77,600.00/Yr. - USD $129,600.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
