ABSC is seeking a Scrum Master/Business Analyst in support of the Chief Digital and AI Office (CDAO) in Falls Church, VA. This position is hybrid, with select tasks authorized for performance in a telework capacity. CDAO is responsible for acceleration of the DoDs adoption of data, analytics, and AI to generate decision advantage from the boardroom to the battlefield. Security Clearance: Active SECRET clearance required with a willingness/ability to obtain TS/SCI.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
  • Documents requirements and specifications and reviews documentation provided by other teams and vendors.
  • Synthesize requirements underlying feature requests, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and facilitate engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines.
  • Support the Product Owner in managing the product backlog refining stories, setting priorities, and tracking progress.
  • Facilitate or assist with Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, inconsistencies, or opportunities for optimization.
  • Identify, document, and communicate business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Help prepare presentations, reports, and summaries and communicate them for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with technical team to support the delivery of projects and remove impediments.
  • Maintain project documentation and ensure traceability of requirements.
  • Manage the program backlog with the Program Manager and manage sprints and workload in an Agile framework.
  • Track metrics to improve team efficiency and continuous improvement efforts.

Experience Required for this Role:
  • Provide subject matter expertise to support agile development using methodologies based on iterative development, requirements and solutions.
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies and tools.
  • Strong communications skills: you will be required to proactively engage fellow CDAO members and DoD cross-organizational colleagues both inside and outside of your team.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Tableau, or Qlik.
  • Ability to analyze data and translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Experience in working in Agile Scrum and/or hybrid environments.
  • Scrum certification (CSM or PSM I) preferred but not required.

Education Required:
  • Bachelors degree plus 7-10 years experience, or a Masters Degree plus 5 years of experience.
